Naila Saeed, a Master’s in Public Administration, 20 years ago, started her Day Care industry career because of her passion towards childcare, coaching and entrepreneurship. A teacher sensitive to the behavioral patterns and needs of the little ones, she has built a niche in caring for them while being diligent to the regulation demands of this industry.

With resolute determination, Naila began her Canadian journey by providing tutoring services to local students. This modest beginning marked the start of something greater. Melissa has worked in childcare for over 10 years. She takes great pride in ensuring that she strives for excellence and quality in the field and in her work.

Melissa has been looking to fulfill her career goals in the childcare industry, putting an emphasis on education, diversity, and equality. She remains dedicated to developing as both a leader and a professional; believing the best way to inspire and empower colleagues is to lead by example. She has a passion for collaborating and building with team members to bring forth the common goal of growth and improvement.

As Program Manager she is responsible for ensuring all the centers comply with the Ministry of Education, CCEYA, Public Health, and EYES Standards, overseeing programming content; including meals, supporting supervisors, updating centres with new information and policies, ensuring the quality of the centers is maintained and keeping up to date with changes to policy in the childcare industry.

Mathew Edassery brings over 15 years of leadership experience across non-profit and corporate sectors. He holds a Master of International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and a Bachelor of Social Work from the Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, providing a strong foundation in strategic management and community-focused service.

Mathew has led multi-scale initiatives across countries and cultures with a strong background in communications, policy initiatives, and stakeholder management; He has strengthened organizational and operational systems and enhanced community trust throughout his career. His experience managing complex projects equips him to support consistent and effective operations across multiple EYES locations.

As Regional Director, Mathew is involved in branding, digital communications, vendor management, documentation, and compliance with EYES Child Care operational standards, while also supporting centre directors and all stakeholders through regular communication and guidance to ensure alignment, accountability, and excellence across the region.

Nazia Asad is the Non-Profit Director of EYES Childcare, where she leads initiatives that strengthen the organization’s charitable efforts and community outreach. She plays a crucial role in fostering partnerships, securing funding, and implementing impactful programs that align with EYES Childcare’s mission of accessibility and support for families.

Nazia works closely with community organizations, donors, and stakeholders to build sustainable relationships that enhance the reach and effectiveness of EYES Childcare’s initiatives. She oversees grant applications, fundraising events, and resource allocation to ensure that financial support is directed toward meaningful programs benefiting children and families.

Her dedication to social impact drives the development of educational opportunities, family assistance programs, and initiatives that promote equity and inclusion. Through her leadership, Nazia ensures that EYES Childcare’s charitable efforts create lasting positive change within the community.

As the Director of Nutrition at EYES Childcare Canada, Jennifer Huynh leads the organization’s food and nutrition programs with expertise and dedication. With over 20 years of experience in the food and hospitality industry, she has played a key role in developing and implementing standardized kitchen procedures that ensure excellence in food safety, nutrition, and daily meal preparation.

Jennifer supports staff and stakeholders through training and guidance, building strong nutrition literacy and best practices across all EYES locations. Her work ensures that every child enjoys nutritious, balanced meals that promote growth, energy, and healthy eating habits.

Currently pursuing her license as a Registered Dietitian at the School of Nutrition, Toronto Metropolitan University, Jennifer continues to advance her knowledge in child nutrition and wellness.

Cooking and sharing food has always been Jennifer’s passion. She believes that introducing children to wholesome, enjoyable meals early in life builds a lifelong appreciation for good nutrition. Through her leadership, EYES Childcare fosters a positive food culture where healthy eating becomes an everyday joy.

Jennifer Huynh (pronounced “Honey”) brings warmth, professionalism, and care to every aspect of EYES Childcare’s nutrition program.

Farman Sumar is the Director of Communications at EYES Childcare, leading the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies. His expertise spans internal and external communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and engagement across all platforms.

Farman oversees marketing initiatives, public relations, and digital content creation to strengthen EYES Childcare’s brand identity and outreach. He collaborates with leadership to align messaging with the organization’s mission, fostering meaningful connections with families, stakeholders, and the broader community.

Dedicated to enhancing brand visibility and reputation management, Farman drives strategic campaigns, social media presence, and multimedia content to effectively promote EYES Childcare.
