We believe that every child is unique and will grow at their own pace. EYES’ teachers spend time nurturing children’s strengths and encouraging them to reach new heights. EYES’ goal is to educate and empower children while focusing on developing emotional intelligence and values along with social, physical, cognitive and intellectual skills. 

EYES’ vision is to nurture, develop and build an exceptional foundation of skills and abilities in our children to become outstanding citizens. At EYES, we provide a safe, nutritious, and healthy environment for each child enrolled in our program. Our primary goals are to provide a high quality, supportive, family centered program in a warm, safe and responsive environment.

EYES’s common-sense practices and a holistic teaching environment strives for equity over excellence. EYES Child Care is dedicated to making every child’s experience a positive one and providing a strong foundation through a safe, caring and stimulating environment. This is provided in the best friendly child care setting where children can develop physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and focus based on emotional intelligence, values, human relationships and individuality. We strive to build a foundation for lifelong learning. EYES believes in dignity and value of all children and strongly believes that social and intellectual skills are best learned in an environment where self-esteem is nurtured, and respect is absolute.

EYES’ focus is on promoting learning in a natural surrounding with emphasis on humanity, love and discipline. The essential teachings are conducted in subjects like language, science, mathematics through group discussions, and self-learning. Alongside the core subjects, attention is also given to arts, sports, crafts, singing that develop a child’s intelligence and critical thinking. Activities such as yoga, and meditation, generate positivity and peace of mind, while providing an avenue for physical fitness. It is also mandatory to do daily chores on their own with a motive to impart practical skills in them. All these activities help in personality development and will increase their confidence, sense of discipline, intellect and mindfulness. These provide a strong foundation to face the world that lies ahead.

We know that children learn best by pursuing their personal interest and goals. Hence, at EYES, children make their own choices about materials and activities during program time. EYES recognises each child is a unique individual who brings his or her own abilities to the centre. We provide an environment that fosters curiosity and allows children to explore, grow and reach their maximum potential.

“Active Learning” education approach- The approach involves children involved in direct, hand-on experiences with people, objects and events. We support positive and responsive interactions among children, parents, and our educators. We encourage children in a positive way and support their ability to self-regulate. It is our role to foster the children’s exploration, play and inquiry.

EYES plans for and creates positive learning environments and experiences in which each child’s learning and development is supported. We include outdoor and indoor play as well as active play, rest, and quiet times for each child in our programs. EYES also supports staff to constantly educate themselves through professional learning.

Overall, the idea of inculcating the Early Years Education System in the field of education is to assist the children in understanding the concept of a balanced life. This very ideology of balance should be taught to the kids from a very young age so that they make informed decisions about the way they wish to live their life. EYES program incorporates all our child’s developmental domains which ensures positive growth.

Unfortunately, the all around development model is disappearing in the modern system of education. There is a total absence of personality development, creation of moral conscience and ethical training. One of the biggest flaws about education currently is that it is more commercial in nature rather than an institutional concept that should impart holistic learning to the students. It devotes very less time for physical activity and the development of other skill sets that can assist a child in becoming a better human being.

Robust learning by the students can only take place when focus is given on practical knowledge as well. But alas our present-day education believes only in bookish knowledge and cramming which is not sufficient. The Early Years Education System focuses on applied knowledge that prepares the students in all fields of life. In present times, it can be done by creating a perfect combination of academics and extracurricular activities along with teachings in the areas of mindfulness and spiritual awareness to make the students better individuals.

The present-day education mainly focuses on a rank-based system which is driven by animosity towards their peers. More fuel is added by the ambitious parents who judge the knowledge of students only by academic performance. The application of the EYES system instead works on a value-based system where focus is given on the uniqueness of the child so that they can excel in their area of interest. This also builds a good character which is in contrast with fierce competition and increased stress levels that usually leads to depression.

The need of the present is a balanced relationship between a teacher and a student comprising respect and friendship. When the children feel secure and have trust in the caregiver, they are most likely to emulate the same. This is present in the EYES approach which can be inculcated today through use of activities, and training workshops to bond with the students.
